Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School is very appreciative of the opportunities we have had to see and be part of the athletic excitement at the Mattamy Athletic Centre this year and in past years, supporting our neighbourhood university teams. Many of our students and their families cheered on the Rams hockey teams and the Rams volleyball teams. Our grade 7 and 8's have also thoroughly enjoyed the Rams in training program. Perhaps some of our students will one day be Ryerson students after such a positive introduction. We look forward to more opportunities during the school year 2015-2016. Go Rams!!

Watching the fast-paced competition between some of Canada's best basketball players at Ryerson University this year was an experience our young students at Donwood Park Public School will not soon forget. Experiencing sporting events at such a high level is increasingly inaccessible for a segment of our youth in Toronto. And yet, it is such an enjoying part of Canadian culture. I certainly hope to expose my students to such events again in the future. Thank you Ryerson Rams.

Our team’s Ryerson night was one of the highlights of our year - the kids loved the shoot out, high fives with the players and watching the game.

Visiting the new MAC (Maple Leaf Gardens) was a wonderful experience for me both as an Alumni and a Community Service Provider. I graduated from Ryerson University in 1996, earning a degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management.By attending the numerous sporting events facilitated by Ryerson University, the children and youth from Wellesley Community Centre aspire to one day wear a RAMS jersey themselves. Many of the children from the St. Jamestown/Regent Park Neighbourhood participate in the "RAMS in Training" program to learn new skills, meet new friends, and gain access to opportunities that otherwise may not have been possible. I'd like to thank Ryerson University for supporting our community, and I look forward to continuing a partnership to engage our children and youth.

I am writing to let you know how much the Scarborough Village youth absolutely enjoyed and are grateful for the opportunity that you have given them with being able to attend the Ryerson Varsity basketball and Hockey games. We attended some basketball games and hockey games and their experience will forever be with them. Your staff was very attentive and helpful.
