INFORMATION

The ice surface measures 85ft by 200ft and is perfect for a variety of skating activities.
Each one (1) hour rental starts at the top of the hour and consists of a 50-minute skate followed by a 10-minute flood. Access to the scoreboard is included. The use of the sound system, videoboard, wireless microphone and any additional audio-visual requirements, can be made available for an additional fee.
Each rental includes two (2) dressing rooms, which are available no earlier than 30 minutes prior to the start of the rental, and must be vacated no later than 30 minutes after the end of the rental. No alcohol is permitted in the dressing rooms at any time.
Rental groups must bring their own padlock in order to secure their dressing rooms.
The Mattamy Athletic Centre is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Do not bring valuables into the facility, and do not leave any of your belongings unattended.
When on the ice, all patrons must wear skates. Shoes are permitted on the ice only when the individual is wearing a CSA approved helmet. When wearing skates off the ice, skate guards are recommended for safety.
CSA approved helmet, neck guard and facemasks are recommended for hockey.
Children 6 years and younger are required to wear a CSA-approved helmet.
Alcohol, abusive language and aggressive behaviour are not permitted in the facility. Failure to abide by this rule may result in a suspension from the program and/ or facility.
All skating parties of 40 people or more will be charged an additional fee for an Arena Attendant and/ or Access Control Staff to be on the ice throughout the rental.
Arena attendant cost: $22/hr +HST. Four hour minimum call.
The maximum capacity on the ice surface at any one time is 200 people.
Broadcast/Varsity Lighting cost: $40 per hour rental.

Additional fees may apply depending on setup, lighting, insurance, and AV requirements.

TMU groups receive 25% off non-prime time ice (marked with asterisk above).

Rental rates are based on a maximum of 50 people (spectators and participants) per hour.

Seasonal clients that book on a weekly basis must submit their requests by May 31st for the winter season, and by February 15th for the summer season.
